Our own @BronzeHK had some words to say about the passing of Richard Ng:
This hit me hard. Richard Ng is so synonymous with Hong Kong cinema, it took me some time to comprehend that he’s now gone. I can’t even remember the first time I laid eyes on this enormous comedic talent.

I jumped like a screaming child (I was in my twenties), telling my friends and work colleagues. They were happy to see me so elated, though since most weren’t knowledgeable about HK cinema, they were understandably befuddled by my rare moment of unrestrained giddiness. .

As I said, Ng always lit my heart up.
My sincere condolences to Ng’s family and friends in this difficult time. RIP Richard Ng. Can’t believe you’re gone. But your legacy lives on
