Earlier this week we ended our Impact Campaign with a screening of @hostiledoc in Parliament. Director Sonita Gale was joined by @ZoeJardiniere and @NadiaWhittomeMP for a discussion on the film’s impact, the state of the hostile environment and why grassroots activism matters.
Our @hostiledoc Impact Campaign comes to an end with a final screening of the film in @UKParliament on January 13th, 2026. It will include a panel discussion with @ZoeJardiniere and @NadiaWhittomeMP, and will mark director Sonita Gale’s final in person Q&A.
@hostiledoc screened at a number of locations in late May and June, in the run up to and during a very busy @refugeeweek 2025. Thank all of the organisers involved for hosting these events and to everyone who attended.
Last week @hostiledoc screened @PhillipsExeter, Cumberland Sanctuary Network, and @UniofHerts. Interest in the film continues to skyrocket in the run up to Refugee Week 2025, and we are glad the film continues to be used to raise awareness of migrant issues.

On February 28th, Hostile screened for students at the Department of International Development (@odid_qeh) at @UniofOxford, with a Q&A with Director Sonita Gale. The event was part of a series of arts-based initiatives for students getting the Migration Studies degree.
