Moving in the right direction. Regular attendance at events with aims of winning local competitions. Increased participation at National events. Training groups continuing to expand across all ages. Progress made throughout track, road and XC ✅

Been a while without signal so here’s a quick run down from the last few days.
154: 60km
155: 70.2km
156: 61.4km
157: 60.5km
158: 60.2km
Rainy season is here in the Congo rainforest. None of this drizzle business. When it rains here it does it with chest. Respect. Temps are also wild averaging daily highs of about 36 degrees.
Signal is hard to come by but progress is looking strong. We’ll be entering Cameroon in a few days time. Hope you’re all going well out there boys & girls🫡

Day 1 consisted of a hike up to a mountain hut called Refuge d'Espingo, where we stayed the night (awesome experience!). Day 2 we woke up early and hiked a longer route back, via a peak, to Bagnères-de-Luchon. 🥾
