It is easy to assume that donating blood might take away too much from your body. What feels like โ€œa lotโ€ is actually a very small fraction of what your body naturally holds. Your body replaces it quickly and safely. You have more than enough to give.

There is no such thing as โ€œenough donors.โ€ Patients need blood every day, for emergency care, surgical procedures, and maternal health, and supply often falls short. Every donor matters.
