Line 2 shutdown St. George to Woodbine. No Stouffville Line trains. Basically no rapid transit access to the east end. How do you reconcile this @gotransit @TTChelps? And don't just say "we're sorry" looking for a real solution here. Apologies are meaningless w/o resolution

Signs of #dread. Taking the #TTC triples the time it takes to get to Union - 25 to 75 mins. I appreciate the construction, but the offered alternative is painful. Basically I'll be stuck at home this weekend. Thanks but no thanks @GOtransit @Metrolinx

Thanks for the shout out and recognition!
Scarborough has always been a food paradise. Since the start of the pandemic I noticed some excellent IG accounts popping up from lifelong residents showing me where to eat and spotlighting 'hoods like Wexford, Golden Mile, Agincourt, Bendale, etc.

Except when you live in #Scarborough take @GOtransitST Line and your @Metrolinx career requires a late shift and - crap! No trains after 7pm!
Can we get our late night service restored? @GOtransit some people's careers do depend on it...

Awesome people love taking regional transit in the Greater Toronto Area. But… as our population grows we’re going to need a lot more of it to relieve Union Station, such as:
- Midtown GO Line
- More regional GO routes that feed into Midtown
- More downtown shoulder stations

Making Transit Free in 2024 would be the most strategic decision for expansion right now. It would show how much demand there really is and drive the case for these lines folks are taking abt.
