Meet Dr. Harry Papaconstantinou, who serves on the ABS Council, the Diplomates & Surgeons in Practice Committee, and the General Surgery Board. Thank you, Dr. Papaconstantinou, for your continued commitment to improving patient care and surgical outcomes.
This will have a terrible impact in Medical Training Programs, across the USA. Hoping for an exception for the medical field or a reversal in the years to come. ššš

I got to work with Dr Love as a surgery resident at the old Beth Israel Hospital in the late 1980s. She was a force of nature. Incredible impact. Gone too soon.
Dr. Love had originally planned to be a Roman Catholic nun, then began a career as a general surgeon. But she soon realized she was needed in the male-dominated field of breast surgery. nyti.ms/3NXYQnQ
