Reminder: Three months ago, a hiker and his puppy were shot to death on a hiking trail in Washington and nobody has been charged. The local sheriff kept changing their story, all the while saying the shooter is "a good kid from a good family".

This incident is finally getting some attention after two months. A hiker and his puppy getting murdered near a popular hiking trail would normally be front page news, but in this case the local sheriff was long quiet and said the shooter with the shifty story is a "good kid"

I am just curious if it ever came across the newswire since the sheriff hasn't released much info and it only seems to be getting coverage now because the hikers friends and family are pushing back.

It was a lot of joy to work on this video, especially since I got to spend part of the summer just driving my car all around rural areas, blasting Clash and Joe Strummer songs the whole time while the cameras on top of my car churned away.
