This year’s College World Series will be the 79th all-time, and Texas is making its 39th trip to Omaha. That’s nearly half of every CWS ever played. For perspective, the next closest program is Miami with 25 appearances. Just absolutely insane.

I know some have said this but I truly do think softball is the best women’s sport to watch. You get all the strategy and tension of baseball, but in a faster-paced game. The drama is there, crowd energy is there, and every pitch matters. It’s really a great product.
