After 13 years of service to our local community, we are thrilled to announce that InSTEDD has closed our iLabSEA and the team from the iLabSEA has now established an independent social enterprise organization, Kawsang (kawsang.com).
@kawsangtech
Our original vision when we established the iLabSEA was that it would ultimately become a separate entity, locally owned and operated, in a model that provides social benefit and fits within the local economy.
InSTEDD would like to express our sincere appreciation to all of our partners for the years of exceptional collaboration with the InSTEDD iLab Southeast Asia and for your contribution to its success in providing important solutions for social good.

This is what we were up to in the past week of March. We have been working together for ICT Curriculum Revision in Code.org platform from grade 7 to 11 to benefit all students and teachers at New Generation Schools (NGS).
#ICTcambodia#coding#codingcambodia
The curriculum mainly focuses on Coding, Computational Thinking and Problem Solving. InSTEDD, KAPE team and ICT teachers from all NGS will be working together to improve four main parts in the curriculum: Course Syllabus, Lesson Plan, Teaching Guide, and Slide Presentation.
Before last weekend, our InSTEDD team and @kapeaction has organized a workshop about ICT Computational Thinking Curriculum development for NGS in Cambodia. The workshop is conducted with the IT teachers from 6 NGS.
The purpose of this workshop is to develop ICT Computational Thinking curriculum for the new generation of schools to make it more efficient and suitable for both the teachers and the students.
Stay tuned for more updates in the future!

A huge part of Human-Centered Design (HCD) is human. HCD is a creative approach to problem-solving that starts with people and ends with innovative solutions that are tailor-made to suit their needs. This is why this motto, "If we don't go, we won't know", exists.
