Apple's iOS 26 Liquid Glass won a prestigious Gold Cube award at the Art Directors Club Awards in New York this evening. Turns out actual designers like it. bloomberg.com/news/newslette…

BREAKING: Apple is overhauling Siri this fall in iOS 27 and macOS 27 and turning it into its first full-fledged chatbot, looking to fend off OpenAI’s ChatGPT and seriously compete in the generative AI space. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

Wild that the iPhone’s durability is judged based on if you’re able to destroy it with every ounce of force in your body. One could pretty much break any item they have if they really wanted to. The iPhone 6 was obviously different and folded like a sheet of paper.
I'll only trust JerryRigEverything

Apple uses 9:41 AM (when the original iPhone was announced) as the time on all devices. I didn't realize until this event that they also use April 1 (when Apple was founded) for dates, as seen in the AirPods Pro 3 HRM and Sleep score sections.

Wait a second, the iPhone 17 Pro isn't the first iPhone aluminum unibody. Apple said the iPhone 6 received an "precision unibody enclosure of anodized aluminum" in their press release. And wasn't the iPhone 5 technically the first iPhone with an Aluminum unibody enclosure?

The iPhone 17 Pro is the first iPhone Aluminum unibody design. I miss in-person Apple Events like the one where Steve Jobs passed around the MacBook Pro unibody precision Aluminum enclosure. If the 2025 iPhone Apple Event was an in-person event the iPhone unibody would have been passed around. Does any other smartphone manufacturer product Aluminum unibody enclosurew? I wonder how much of the iPhone 17 Pro's unibody design contributes to its increased durability.

It’s interesting how many people think this Apple employee will get fired for… doing exactly what he was supposed to be doing. Apple conceals the pre-release phones because they know they’ll be seen by the general public. It’s just like cars that are on the road before they get announced. They always have a wrap to conceal details but it needs real world testing so it’s out in the real world.
