I just feel bad for women who don't know the duality of being a smart and hot woman, by choice I'm sorry you feel like you can only be one

People always say there aren’t enough women in crypto or wonder why more women aren’t here, especially when the space has so much opportunity that, by definition, is open to anyone. Then, when women do show up — having fun, making their presence known, and not taking themselves too seriously — they get ridiculed. Men hide behind screens and instinctually hurl horrible, abusive comments. Women are automatically written off as dumb, ugly, no-good whores who “shouldn’t be here.” If they’re cringe and have fun like many of the male creators in this space, they’re mocked for not being serious. If they are more serious and gain any sort of following or engagement from what they build or accomplish, people will still dismiss it as “only because they’re a woman.” Women are constantly denied the right to be complex, dynamic individuals. The double standard is impossible to miss. Damned if they do. Damned if they don’t. The only real option at this point is to not give a fuck and do what you want anyway. And that’s how you win. But my god, it’s tiring lol
