I’m allergic to soy, gluten, eggs, dairy and peanuts & I still think this is a bullshit take lmfaooo WHAT?! I have personally gotten incredibly sick from eating contaminated garbanzo beans so I simply stopped eating them instead of suggesting no one should be allowed to have any!
My hot take is that it should be illegal to sell foods that may contain traces of major allergens. Use it as an ingredient or make sure it’s nowhere near the food, but the fact I can’t buy lentils or chickpeas because they might have touched some wheat is driving me up the wall
