Quite impressed by what Claude Code can do! Gave it very simple instructions to write a Go SDK for a public API using an existing Go library as inspiration. It did its own research and one-shotted the whole thing in less than an hour and with 99% of my session quota 😅

Took Adblock for granted until the one I use recently stopped working. Suddenly these email-like ads started showing up in my inbox. How is this different from getting actual random spam emails? Maybe it's time to switch email providers.

Asked Google “what happened to X from Y company”. Google returned no relevant results, and incorrect results from Gemini (AI Overview). ChatGPT gave me the exact answer I was looking for (with links) and more. The latter might become tomorrow’s default search engine.

Wrapping up the year with a 3:14:14 PR at CIM. Learned from my mistakes in this same race last year. Came up with a plan this time around, stayed disciplined, and executed on it. Inching closer to a BQ, let’s go!

Finally got the chance to hop into a Waymo and I must say I’m really impressed! Probably drives a tad slower and more defensively than a human driver (e.g. sitting through a yellow light rather than chasing it), but the ride itself was very smooth.
