Last year, I promised that when I became Speaker, I would remove Rep. Ilhan Omar from the House Foreign Affairs Committee based on her repeated anti-semitic and anti-American remarks.
I'm keeping that promise.
Community note
The Speaker does not have the power to remove a member from a standing committee. Foreign Affairs is a standing committee. Each party has their own rules and procedures for assigning committee roles. Only a majority vote by the entire house could remove Rep. Omar.

All food comes from carbon (CO2) in the air.
It’s a miracle.
The inputs to photosynthesis are Carbon Dioxide and Water.
The outputs are Oxygen and food (Carbohydrate).
It’s unscientific to think of CO2 as pollution.

As with all things the dose makes the poison. CO2's role in photosynthesis does not mean that unlimited increases in atmospheric CO2 will be harmless for the planet or even necessarily beneficial to plants.
