Today's lakeFS pro tip: You can use lakeFS to read and write versioned data, without the data itself ever going through a lakeFS server!
How is that magic possible? 🤔
The answer is pre-signed URLs! These are short-lived, pre-authenticated URLs, supported on all object stores.

Pro tip: You can now (lakeFS >= 0.104.0) upload entire directory structures by dragging them into the upload pane in the UI 🤩
Uploads are parallelized and (if configured) will use pre-signed URLs to upload directly to the object store - without going through your lakeFS server!
