$IONQ “Put-up or shut-up was the standard the industry set for itself. On the eighteen-month record, $IONQ has been putting up — shipping systems, beating its numbers, and hitting its dates early. And it has done so not in one vertical but across the entire national-security full stack: computing, networking, sensing, and security delivered together, with a domestic foundry pending — a breadth no competitor anywhere is currently close to matching.” Another excellent report by @HannaSuds! I can only imagine the time and the intellectual rigor it requires to conduct an analysis such as this. Thank you, Hanna!
$IONQ Every Scout starts with two words — BE PREPARED — and most never need them to mean more than a packed bag. The few who build a life around them, who treat readiness as a discipline rather than a slogan and carry it into service where the stakes are real, are the ones from whom Tier-1 operators are eventually drawn: not the loudest, not the best-equipped, but the most reliably ready when it counts — and that is exactly the distance my new report, The Delivery Verdict: IonQ's Tier-1 Mentality, measures in IonQ. Here's the thesis, and I'm not going to soften it: as global enterprise crosses from quantum experimentation into quantum commercialization, the entire game stops being about who has the flashiest roadmap and becomes about who actually delivers — on time, ahead of schedule, when sovereign capability and real money are on the line — and on that measure IonQ isn't competing for the lead, it is the lead. THE BIG QUESTION IS THIS: Does @IonQ_Inc fulfill its stated commitments and are they on-time, ahead of schedule, or behind, and what does this mean for their business operations and roadmap? In essence, can we TRUST IonQ to deliver what we many expect will be delivered in the future? Most of us know, milestones hit early. Guidance beaten five quarters running. An integrated national-security full stack — computing, networking, sensing, security — delivered at a breadth no competitor anywhere is close to matching at the moment, while the rest of the field is still talking. We get it. You get it. But can the momentum sustain itself? This is the moment that separates the operators from the aspirants, and the report documents — evidence-tagged, primary-sourced, open conditions intact — why IonQ has already crossed that line. IonQ has developed in many ways characteristics of a Tier-1 Operator. Bottom line: this is the report that sets everything apart and tells you why. quantumtechintegration.blogs…

$IONQ CFO & COO Inder Singh spoke today at the Rosenblatt 2026 Annual Technology Summit 46 minutes with analyst John McPeek. 0️⃣ WHO'S TALKING Inder Singh isn't a newcomer: ex-CFO of ARM (sold it to NVIDIA), ran M&A at Cisco, on IonQ's board since Dec 2021, lead director who ran the CEO transition, CFO/COO since Sept 2025. When he joined the board, IonQ had "basically no revenue." Today: "market leader in virtually every metric you can imagine." 1️⃣ THE ROADMAP - "unmatched from anyone I've seen" • 2026: 100-qubit laser-based systems deploying to customers NOW • 2027: 256-qubit SEMICONDUCTOR system -first working prototype already built, in ~2 months instead of 9-10 thanks to the foundry partnership • 2027 chip / 2028 ship: 10,000 qubits - the same team is already on the 10K chip, work planned "a year from now" • 2030: 2,000,000 qubits via the Walking Cat architecture - 10K → 20K → 200K → 2M, NO extra lasers, LESS energy, bill of materials going DOWN And the kicker: SkyWater "enables us to shift some of the outer years to the left." The roadmap may ACCELERATE. "Most of the science stuff is behind us. Now it's just leveraging mature CMOS technology." "Lasers just don't scale." The rest of the industry will learn that lesson. IonQ already did. 2️⃣ THE MOAT - why trapped ions CMOS "It's like a 100-yard dash where you spot me 40 yards." Ion traps start with fewer errors, better fidelity, higher coherence - near room temperature, no millikelvin fridges. "Hard for me to imagine a superconducting thing being mobile in the same time frame." Four-nines (99.99%) 2-qubit gate fidelity achieved last year: "ain't so easy." ABCD tape-outs done on the 256 chip → now component testing → system testing → customer SLAs. From the 10K on, upgrades become MODULAR: customers never replace the machine - they swap modules like a GPU. "That's how you establish footprint and incumbency." 3️⃣ FAULT TOLERANCE - "the only thing that really matters" "The machine must be fault tolerant with enough qubits to matter. Fault tolerance is essential - and candidly, the only thing that really matters." A machine that "discovers its own error, fixes its own error and moves on." Quantum advantage sits in the MIDDLE of this roadmap and IonQ's path gets there "potentially the fastest." It won't be a ChatGPT consumer moment: it lands first in life sciences, financial services, batteries, chemistry… and code-breaking "you may never read a press release about. That may be the ultimate app." 4️⃣ Q-DAY - the quotes of the day On breaking RSA-2048: "The Department of War has said it will be broken within three years. An adversary of the country has said they'll break it in four. It's in that zone. And who gets there first matters." "It's not a race between us and any other quantum company I don't consider any of them competitors. It's a race of nations." On the US: "We've had our head in the sand people telling us breaking encryption is 20 years away. When Google and others say it's a fraction of that, security suddenly becomes relevant." That's why ID Quantique (#1-2 market share, deep APAC penetration) is in the portfolio: "the antidote to ourselves." 5️⃣ THE MARKET IS WAKING UP McPeek pointed it out: Intel's CEO joining a quantum board, the US Commerce Department investing directly in quantum companies, Quantinuum completing a traditional IPO. The space is "becoming more real." Inder: "Absolutely. Quantum has risen on the priority list of countries - I can't think of one it's not affecting - to being right up there with almost anything else you can imagine." 6️⃣ THE NUMBERS • Quantum computing growing 100% YoY ORGANICALLY - "even as the company gets bigger" • $3B invested in the semiconductor roadmap (Oxford Ionics ~$1B SkyWater $1.8B): "That is all about staying number one" • When Inder joined: "demand exceeding supply" → capacity expanded to 4 factories (College Park, Seattle, Oxford, Colorado): "If we have to build two more, we will" • A queue forming for the 256. First bookings already announced. One customer signed for THREE generations of machines • Remember: quantum scales 2^n, not 2×n. Each generation is an EXPONENTIAL leap 7️⃣ NETWORKING - the sleeper Entanglement demonstrated over fiber optics in April. Interconnects aren't needed inside the machine anymore (CMOS scales to 2M) - so they became a PRODUCT: quantum networking, like Cisco for the quantum era. "Each quantum computer at advantage will outrun any classical device of any form. But two of them working as one it starts to boggle the imagination." 8️⃣ DEMAND SIGNALS Data centers are starting to put a QPU next to the AI factory of GPUs: "One doesn't make a trend, but now I've seen three of those and you start to see a trend emerge." No longer just labs: multiple machines deployed with a single customer. "A flywheel effect." Golden Dome: "We've announced the early beginnings of that already" jam-proof quantum sensing more precise than GPS, atomic clocks, space-based assets. "We don't make weapons, but we deliver a lot of things to that table." SkyWater = onshore, secure US foundry with top-secret clearances: "We have to trust the entire supply chain." 9️⃣ PLATFORM, NOT PRODUCT From one-trick pony to one-stop shop in 18 months under @NiccoloDeMasi: compute, networking, security, sensing, space, foundry five TAMs instead of one. "As we build the iPhone, we're building the App Store to go with it" the largest quantum application development team in-house. M&A from here: "much more selective the main pillars of the platform are built." 🔟 FINAL WORD TO SKEPTICS "Even Einstein called it spooky science. So there's skepticism. My philosophy: put up the numbers. Show the growth. Show the revenue." "There's no incumbent to dislodge it's not Cisco trying to beat Nortel. It's all about grabbing market share as fast as possible, because no one is saying you can't." Full 46-min interview below Must-watch. #IonQ #QuantumComputing $IONQ

$IONQ 🇮🇪 An Irish government minister just went on record to welcome a single computer into his country. It’s an IonQ. Horizon Quantum (Nasdaq: HQ) confirmed Dublin as the home of its second testbed system - the 6th-generation, chip-based 256-qubit trapped-ion machine it agreed to buy from IonQ in March. → Minister Peter Burke ties it to “Silicon Island”, Ireland’s national semiconductor strategy → IDA Ireland’s CEO calls quantum development a strategic priority for the agency → Horizon plans to grow Irish science and engineering teams around the machine Testbed #1 (Singapore, Dec 2025) runs superconducting hardware. For its European headquarters, the hardware-agnostic company picked IonQ. The map since March: Cambridge claimed a 256-qubit system. Dublin claims one today. And IonQ put a UK & Ireland sales director in place three months ago. In Europe, the arrival of an IonQ system is becoming a government event. $IONQ #IonQ #Quantum #Ireland
Today, we announced that we expect to locate our second quantum computer—an IonQ 256-qubit system—in Dublin, Ireland. By placing this frontier system in Ireland, we aim to benefit from the country’s growing quantum ecosystem and deep-tech talent pool. horizonquantum.com/resources…

$IONQ 🚨 @NiccoloDeMasi CEO of @IonQ_Inc on @business The Pulse this morning. 🚨 "We've moved out of the research phase. We're into the engineering, manufacturing and scaling stage... We started this industry 30 years ago, we're the first company that has published a shovel-ready blueprint of our fully fault-tolerant system." The whole interview, in three parts. 1. The race → Q-Day: the 2033 assumption is gone. The roadmap window is 2028-2029 - China's stated goal is 2029, and Google now agrees → On China: ahead by a few years, not a decade - his own estimate. Being first is the point, for the economy and for national security 2. The scale-up → SkyWater: close expected this summer, pending FTC clearance - toward the largest quantum merchant supplier in the world, open to anyone acceptable to the US → First complete architectural blueprint for fault tolerance, published six weeks ago → His framing: the research phase is over. This is engineering - and capital buys speed → Revenue: first quantum company to 7 figures, then 9 last year. Stated ambition: first to 10 3. The contrast with AI → He won't use AI for his own calendar - he can't afford hallucinations → Quantum is old-school computing: you write the algorithm, the machine executes it → A century to a millennium of GPU work, compressed into hours and days The 21st century is the quantum century. $OKLO announced that “it has acquired ARMEC, a precision manufacturing and engineering firm based in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. The acquisition expands Oklo’s in-house capabilities for its advanced reactor and fuel-manufacturing programs, supports faster design-to-manufacturing feedback, and provides additional control over key elements of Oklo’s deployment timeline. The acquisition, closed on June 4, 2026, reflects Oklo’s broader strategy of integrating critical execution capabilities closer to its reactor, fuel fabrication, and recycling programs as it advances from design into deployment. ARMEC has already supported Oklo’s engineering teams in maturing nozzle manufacturing from early test-fit hardware into more controlled manufacturing workflows, including drawing development, inspection planning, quality assurance procedures, and supplier process troubleshooting.”
Jun 8
Oklo’s vertical integration sets us apart. We build, own, and operate our facilities across our three business lines of power, fuel, and isotopes. Today, we're deepening that integration with the acquisition of ARMEC, bringing more than two decades of operating experience and a team of approximately 40 engineers, fabricators, machinists, welders, and technical personnel with extensive nuclear experience directly into our reactor and fuel-manufacturing programs. Advanced nuclear deployment requires manufacturing depth. ARMEC strengthens ours. Read more -> oklo.com/newsroom/news-detai…

$IONQ “We leverage the flexibility of a trapped-ion quantum computer to demonstrate nine quantum error-correcting codes with starkly different qubit connectivity requirements on a single device without any hardware reconfiguration. These experiments span three families of quantum error-correcting codes: qLDPC codes, topological codes, and concatenated codes. With a qLDPC code encoding 4 logical qubits into 18 physical qubits, we achieve a logical error rate up to 9× better than a previous demonstration of a similar code on superconducting solid-state qubits. Moreover, our implementation exhibits breakeven performance, with some instances achieving qubit lifetimes comparable to or slightly exceeding that of our trapped-ion qubits. We use a novel implementation of the optical-metastable-ground (OMG) architecture for addressable mid-circuit measurement and reset, which enables us to perform these experiments without any ion transport or dedicated coolant ions, requirements that typically consume a large fraction of the runtime or ion count of trapped-ion quantum computers.” Wow, congratulations to the team at $IONQ!
Jun 5
We’re proud to share our latest advance in fault-tolerant quantum computing using high-rate quantum low-density parity-check (qLDPC) codes, which we have found directly reduce qubit overhead. With our trapped-ion hardware, we can demonstrate logical qubits with a high encoding rate on a single device, which requires much lower qubit overhead than other popular approaches like the surface code. This result represents substantial progress toward IonQ’s large-scale quantum architecture. Congratulations to the team who have been working across labs on this research: Edwin Tham, Michael Goldman, Shantanu Debnath, Ashay Patel, Jyothi Saraladevi, Jason Nguyen, Erik Nielsen, Neal Pisenti, Kenneth Wright, John Gamble, and Nicolas Delfosse. Bullish case for $OKLO
IEA data center electricity demand is set to rise from ~290 TWh today to ~1,200 TWh by 2035, a ~4x increase, with AI-optimized servers driving the majority of incremental load. The investable implication: power generation, grid infrastructure, and cooling become the binding constraint on AI buildout, not chips. We view this as the early innings of a multi-decade #electrification capex cycle. ⚡ International Energy Agency
