Been busy trying to be a good husband, father and citizen but created a little family-run 3D printing business focussed on the cool Cricut Joy machine. Thanks for spreading the word to your crafty frenz! Stay safe everyone, and have a truly blessed day! etsy.com/shop/TheLongJourney
We’ve served @samaritannwa as a family for a few years now. We provide hot meals, groceries, kids snacks and more. We’ve ramped up our efforts/involvement since March (Covid). These will be our busiest days yet. 1100 family members helped on Tuesday. Praying we can stay open.
No cons means a massive drop in donations. But thanks to past community donations, our Ugandan Training Center and Hackerspace are still open and our employees are safe and fed and are training “themselves” in mini-cons during the lockdown! WOW! hackersforcharity.org/hacker…
Just learned of Joyce Lin's passing on May 12. Her heart and her passion truly inspired me. Our community suffered a loss when you left, but your legacy is truly amazing. Take time to read about this unbelievable soul: shorturl.at/nyAD8
Africa is in big trouble as risk from lockdowns is potentially more dangerous than the virus. We’re thankful that we can at least support our Ugandan staff as they shelter in place thanks to your donations. Thank you! telegraph.co.uk/global-healt…
Another great day yesterday. Our team served up a record-breaking 625 hot meals and hundreds of bags of groceries and kids snack packs. Unfortunately the surge has stretched our resources. We’ll have to suspend service on Monday. 😔@samaritannwa
“Top hacker shows how it’s done”. youtu.be/hqKafI7Amd8 I never was good at marketing. Presenter got 21M views of my unattributed slides. See 40:24 of my talk four years earlier: youtu.be/5CWrzVJYLWw. I could have done a lot of good with that ad revenue. 😔
Another great day yesterday. Our team gave out 561 hot meals, hundreds of bags of groceries (including canned goods, meat, potatoes, milk, veggies and more) and hundreds of snack packs for the kids. Stay in the game everyone! There’s lots to do!
Served a few hundred meals today with my family and our friends at a local org. We’ve volunteered here for years and normally do hot table service but now we are doing curbside pickup of meals and groceries. Great day.! Keep serving while you can friends. ❤️
Hey all. If you have a 3D printer, you can make face shields for hospitals that are out of masks. They must be printed in PETG which is available from many sources. There’s a slack channel I found from this link: reddit.com/r/Coronavirus/com…
This is a member of our community. I’m not sure how many details are public so I’ll just post this for now. Prayers up for sure. gofundme.com/f/xpcwgy-conque…
