A reminder, the 16 month e-scooter trials are currently in month 71 of 94
Not saying social media ban is being rushed out as part of a 'save Starmer' initiative but officials can't say how all-important age verification will work, or what they'll do about the use of VPNs to bypass checks. A pilot study of proposed curfews hasn't even been assessed yet

"Why don't children go outside and play like I used to?" Maybe because the only thing that annoys people more than children being on technology is actually hearing children enjoying themselves

Thankfully we have Keir Starmer to protect children from this sort of content

"I will not sacrifice our children's happiness..." Cut to a school of the most miserable looking children you'll ever see. An inauspicious start Keir's Happy Children drive
This is Starmer’s Turkey Twizzlers moment.

Once again, really enjoying him treading more lightly on our lives

That is some horrible commentary. People keep saying Raw and Smackdown feel so different, that emotionless commentary is part of why

The way he says "Tiffany Stratton sprinting down to even things up" sounds like he's recording lines for the next 2K game

"Hydration break" And the clock is still running. Why is the clock still running? Why can football not get its head around this?

Loving the discourse. Tailgating exists because of US car culture. You can't fill up a stadium with people all arriving by car as quickly as you can if they arrive by public transport But naturally, both sides of the Atlantic are convinced their way is right
One thing Europeans will never have is tailgating. “Ooh I’ll go have a pint with my mates” K man I’m having 14 beers with 10k random strangers at 8 am, and being offered free hot dogs and burgers omw to the game

Ok so here's my stupid guess Normal pit lanes are 80kph, or 22.22... m/s. If the software rounds that, it goes down and you're safe Monaco was 60kph or 16.66... m/s. If you round up accidentally, say to 16.7m/s, you get 60.1 kph
NEW: Russell blames software as five drivers penalised for breaking speed limit by 0.1kph George Russell believes a software problem caused five drivers to break the pit lane speeding limit by just 0.1kph during the Monaco GP. More: racefans.net/2026/06/07/russ…

It's really winding me up that they aren't eating the breakfast. 4 full glasses of orange juice and untouched croissants

You don't pay in for your own state pensions. You pay for other people's, and then other people pay for yours. It's literally a benefit It SHOULDN'T be one. It should be a proper social fund but we didn't design it that way. Quite happy to discuss reforming it
The law needs to be changed to declassify a Pension as a benefit. I find it grotesque that having paid into a system all your working life that it’s deemed as a handout rather than something you deserve for working hard all your life. Benefits are for people that don’t work Pensions are for people who worked hard & earned their pension. A pension is not a benefit.

"Nearly worked" You lost. Same as you lost the Euro 2020 final after taking an early lead and sitting back on it. Perhaps Declan isn't best asked for tactical advice
As Declan Rice just said , had Arsenal gone into that game with a cavalier attacking mindset, they’d have bern wiped out 4-0. The tactics were smart and nearly worked. So yes, Arsenal played well.

Brilliant for Newcastle but I think Sale need to say thanks for the memories to Sanderson. He's taken them as far as he ever will
80) TRY NEWCASTLE!!!! Alex Hearle wins it with a hat-trick try in the final seconds!!! This is not a drill. Repeat. Not a drill.

Taking an early lead in a final seems to be the worst thing that can happen to a team. Real England v Italy Euro 2020 vibes
Arsenal have set the record for the lowest possession percentage for a team playing in a Champions League final (since records began in 2003-04). The previous lowest record was also Arsenal, set in the 2006 Champions League final, which they played 72 minutes with 10 men.

Watch out everyone, Ed is back with his room temperature IQ hot takes
As the Champions League final kicks off today, football fans are being priced out by TNT Sports locking it behind a paywall. While the PM has politely asked TNT to make it free, I’m calling on the government to change the law and guarantee these games are always free-to-air!

Why do we keep having to suffer Austin Healey on commentary? He just constantly looks for penalties and complains about the laws. Does he even enjoy rugby? #BRIvBAT
