I've got a confession to make.
About 3 years ago when I made the leap into Web3 I deleted my LinkedIn account.
I told myself "I'm full-time Web3 now! I don't need this!"
Besides, all our comms is done on X or TG or Discord, right?
Well, I couldn't have been more wrong...
You see, Web3 has been maturing into a space where real world connections matter.
Professional networks matter.
Credibility matters.
While X is still the best place for networking in Web3, I realize that LinkedIn is quickly gaining relevancy.
In fact, there is a whole other world that exists outside our Web3 bubble.
I was cutting myself off from a broader ecosystem.
LinkedIn, for all its corporate sheen is a powerful tool for building trust, and showcasing expertise.
Think investors, founders, partners, or even trad-fi industries curious about Web3 and the blockchain.
I learned the hard way that ditching LinkedIn didn't make me "more Web3". It just limited my reach.
The evolution in Web3 should be about bridging worlds, not burning bridges.
So yeah, I'm back on LinkedIn, rebuilding my profile and connecting with a new era of Web3.
And sure, you can say that's not very Web3 of me - but I'd counter that being Web3 means embracing everyone who is curious about this space.
No matter where they come from.

Seeing more agencies and marketing teams hire BD positions in crypto.
This is a reflection of the state of the market. Deal flow and lead gen is drying up across the board right now. Decision makers inboxes and spam folders are overflowing with terrible outreach messages making these skills absolutely premium at the moment.
Timing is just off across the board while projects turtle until the market shows a sign of life. Thus pipeline management becomes paramount. The goal right now is to nurture leads and relationships and not force anything.
This means being patient, leading with value, and providing intentional touch points.
Things will pick up again and you'll want to be first on their mind when it does.
The ebb and flow of sales and BD is the nature of the beast - enjoy it and have fun with it or it will consume you.

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.

Elon just created 4,400 millionaires in a single day.
400 of them are now worth over $100 million.
These aren't VCs. They're SpaceX employees, and the list includes welders, technicians, and cafeteria staff, because for two decades the company paid every level of the workforce in stock instead of higher salaries.
Juan Hernandez immigrated from Mexico and took a $28 an hour contractor welding job in 2015. He says he didn't even know what SpaceX was. The company gave him a $10,000 equity grant and let him buy more shares through payroll deductions. That stake is now worth $880,000.
Trevor Hise's parents wanted him to take a stable job at General Electric. He picked SpaceX instead, stayed 12 years, and accumulated over 100,000 shares. At the $135 listing price that's $13.5 million. He's 37 and semiretired. His words: "The magnitude of this has been ridiculous."
The most telling detail came before the listing. Over 100 employees quietly banded together and negotiated a group wealth management deal covering up to $5 billion, because none of them had ever needed a wealth manager before.
Software IPOs have minted millionaires for 30 years. This is the first one where the money went to the factory floor.

The first 2-4 years of parenthood is the most challenging. After that you start establishing rhythms.
Multiple kids end up being easier because they start keeping themselves entertained with games and shit.
Then its just about how organized and disciplined you are as a person.
