TIL about <menu> 😐 Good reminder to always have a growth mindset. No matter how long you've been doing something, you can still learn new things. Even with the "basics".

This is wild. A truly evil #TypeScript utility type.

Pretty late to the game on this one--but @mdx_js is great! Now if only TS go-to-def/find-refs worked for .mdx files 🤔

What if the time spent on fixing a bunch of TypeError bugs in production was instead allocated to accessibility..

I’m getting way more followers on TikTok by just telling people what I learned in my 20s

I made a TikTok of my dog and some kid said “Slay!” in the comments so needless to say I deleted my account. Kids these days. I would never hurt any animal.

Stitches is by far the most impressive CSS-in-JS library I’ve used. Great DX and performance. You can define custom utilities (like px/py/mx/my). Best of all, the TypeScript support is phenomenal!

I've migrated 1000 lines of CSS to Stitches. Here are all the steps I took and why I think @stitchesjs has the best developer experience when it comes to CSS-in-JS.

Replying to @reactjs
@reactjs This useEffect getting called twice in strict mode in v18 thing is bad. The useEffectOnce AG-Grid fix doesn't call the cleanup function. And I'm honestly stuck trying to build a useEffectOnce that works in both strict and non-strict mode.

Little story about "ajax", aka `XMLHttpRequest`, aka `fetch`... Not sure how many people know this but XHR was actually ignored for the first many years of its existence. It was entirely possible to build ajax apps starting in ~1999, but .... nobody did.

The @Vercel CLI has bisection for deployments 🤯 That's way easier than doing git bisect, npm install, npm start to track down UI bugs!
