In case you were wondering why a 12 year old girl would walk around with a hand axe, well now you know.
Sure the government knew, the police knew, the nurses and social workers knew.. they all knew.
But she knew too.
Remember those who did all they could to discredit her.
"Sophie of Dundee" (a pseudonym for a minor whose real name wasn't released) refers to a 12-year-old Scottish girl involved in an incident in Lochee, Dundee, on August 23, 2025. She and a group of girls (aged 12–14) were approached by 22-year-old Ilia Belov (and his 20-year-old sister), who made lewd comments. After Belov assaulted one of the girls, she produced a knife and axe in self-defense.
Initial police and media reports were criticized for focusing on the girl's weapons and suggesting the youths approached the adults (fueling misinformation concerns), but CCTV and court evidence later confirmed the girls were the victims. Belov was convicted of assault and threatening behavior in June 2026, and his sister pleaded guilty to assault. The girl was vindicated and widely referred to as "Sophie of Dundee" online.
