We have been informed that my father, Imran Khan, has lost most of the vision in his right eye, with reports indicating only 15% eyesight remains. This is the direct consequence of 922 days of solitary confinement, medical neglect (denied blood tests) and the deliberate denial of proper treatment in jail. The responsibility lies squarely with the regime in power, the Army Chief and the puppets enabling this cruelty. This physical deterioration is happening under their orders, their watch and their responsibility. They have manipulated and warped the justice system in order to keep my father in solitary confinement. My brother and I are still being denied visas to see our father as his health deteriorates. History will record this injustice. We urge human rights bodies, legal institutions and democratic nations to confront this persecution and ensure those responsible face consequences.

۱/۲ "نکی جئی ہاں" تحریر: مطیع اللہ جان سھیل وڑائچ نے عمران خان کو اب باقاعدہ معافی مانگنے کا باقاعدہ مشورہ دے کر خود کو ستارہِ امتیاز کا حقدار ثابت کر دیا ہے، صحافی کے روپ میں ایسے کئی ھرکاروں کی کچھ دنوں میں اڈیالہ جیل میں ملاقات بھی کروائے جانے کا امکان ہے جسکے بعد کالا دھواں مارتا ۷۰ سال پرانے ڈیزل انجن والا یہ وڑائچ طیارہ ایک بار پھر فراٹے بھرتا دیگر مسافروں کی توجہ کا مرکز ہو گا۔ ایسے چرب زبان چرب دماغ چربہ ساز صحافیوں نے ہمیشہ عین اُس وقت سیاست کی پیٹھ میں صحافت کا چھرا گھونپنا اپنا فرض سمجھا ہے جب اسٹیبلشمنٹ بند گلی میں داخل ہو گئی۔ جنکو اس قوم سے اپنے ۷۸ سال جرائم اور آئین سے غداری کی معافی مانگنی چاہئیے اور قوم سے ان لوگوں کے آگے ہاتھ جوڑ کر معافی مانگنے کا کہا جا رہا ہے۔ بے وزن دلیل کے حامل وزن دار چند صحافی لوگوں نے اپنے اور دوسروں کے لئیے ہمیشہ اصولوں کی کوہ پیمائی کی بجائے بزدلی کی ڈھلوان کا انتخاب کیا ہے۔ مگر مقصد پورا ہو گیا ہے، ایک بحث چھڑ چکی ہے جس سے پارٹی اور عوام میں تقسیم کا عمل جاری ہے۔ ایک فیلڈ مارشل سے ملاقات کیا ہو گئی سھیل وڑائچ خود کو وزرأ اعظموں کے ہم پلہ سمجھنا شروع ہو گئے ہیں۔ ظاہر ہے اس ملک میں وزیر اعظم بننے کے لئیے عوام کے ووٹ کی نہیں آرمی چیف کی نظرِ کرم کی ضرورت ہوتی ہے۔ سچ تو یہ ھیکہ اسٹیبلشمنٹ کے پی ٹی آئی سے جنگ میں سب کچھ لٹا دینے کے بعد اگر نوبت ایک صحافی کے ذریعے معافی مانگنے کی اپیل تک آ گئی ہے تو پھر خود اسٹیبلشمنٹ کو ہی عمران خان سے معافی مانگ لینی چاہئیے۔ کہاں گئے ریاست کے وہ آئینی ادارے جیسا کہ پارلیمنٹ، حکومت اور عدلیہ جس نے شواہد کی بنیاد پر عمران خان اور اُسکی پارٹی کو نو مئی کے مقدمات میں سزا دلوانی تھی؟ اب معاملہ عمران خان کی "نکی جئی ہاں" تک آ گیا ہے تو پھر ریاست اور اسکے اداروں کی اس سے بڑی ناکامی کیا ہو گی۔ دوسری طرف اگر عمران خان نے سھیل وڑائچ کے مشورے پر نو مئی کے واقعات کی مکمل ذمے داری قبول کرتے ہوئے معافی مانگنی ہی ہے تو پھر صرف نو مئی ہی کیوں۔ تھوڑا پیچھے چلے جائیں تو 2014 میں پارلیمنٹ اور پی ٹی وی پر حملوں میں ملوث جنرل راحیل شریف اور جنرل ظہیر الاسلام کی اعانت کاری اور منصوبہ بندی پر بھی اعترافات کے بعد ایک معافی ہونی چاہیئے۔ پھر آرمی پبلک سکول پشاور میں معصوم بچوں کی حفاظت میں سنگین غفلت، امریکہ کے ایبٹ آباد حملے کو روکنے میں ناکامی اور 1990, 2018 اور 2024 کے الیکشنز کی چوری پر بھی کسی کو معافی مانگنی چاہئیے۔ ہم تو آج تک اُن بنگالیوں سے بھی معافی نہیں منگوا سکے جنھوں نے 1971 میں ہماری فوجی تنصیبات پر دشمن سے مل کر نو مئی سے بھی بڑے حملے کروائے، سچی بات تو یہ ہے ہم نے بھی تو اُن پاکستانیوں سے آج تک معافی نہیں مانگی۔ "بات نکلے گی تو بہت دور تلک جائیگی ۰۰۰" ہماری اسٹیبلشمنٹ کو تلخ حقیقت سے نظر نہیں چرانی چاہئیے، 2018 سے پہلے اِس نے جس طریقے سے پی ٹی آئی اور اُسکے نوجوانوں کو نواز شریف حکومت کیخلاف استعمال کیا اور 2018 میں اپنی وردی کا رعب اور وقار کھویا اسکے بعد اِس نسل کے لئیے سیاسی مخالفین اور باوردی مخالفین میں فرق کیسے برقرار رہ سکتا تھا، ایسے میں یہ کہنا غلط نہ ہو گا کہ نو مئی کی اصل وجہ پچیس جولائی ہے، 5ویں نسل کی ہائبرڈ جنگ کے لئیے تیار ان نوجوانوں نے فوج کو اپنا دوست یا دشمن ہی سمجھا- فوج کے اندر وردی کی حرمت کو لیکر سخت ھدایات دی جاتی ہیں، بازاروں اور دیگر عوامی جگہوں پر باوردی افسران کو عوام میں گھلنے ملنے کی اجازت اسی لئیے نہیں ہوتی کہ وردی کی عزت اور اسکا رعب ختم ہی نہ ہو جائے، مگر کیاہوا کہ چند سیاستدانوں، صحافیوں اور نوجوانوں کے ذہنوں میں روایتی سیاستدانوں کے خلاف آئی ایس پی آر میں نفرت کے بیج بوئے گئے، فوج کے اس سیاسی کردار کو لیکر پی ٹی آئی کے لیڈران اور ورکروں کا فوجی تنصیبات کو اپنے احتجاج کا ہدف دیکھنا اور بنانا ایک مجرمانہ مگر قدرتی فعل تھا۔ فوج سیاست کا دروازہ کھٹکھٹائے بغیر اندر داخل ہو گی تو سیاست فوج کے دروازے پر دستک تو دے ہی گی۔ بنگلہ دیش میں کیا ہوا؟ وہی جو غیر منتخب حکمرانوں کیساتھ ہوتا ہے اور ہونا چاہیئے۔ اس ساری صورتِ حال میں معافی تو سب کو قومی ترانے کی دھن پر مل کر مانگنی چاہیئے۔ جاری ہے ۰۰۰۲/۲
