I don’t really know what it means to release an album when 100,000 songs are uploaded to Spotify every day. 50,000 of those are AI. It’s a bizarre time to be a recording artist. It takes me a year of work to finish 15 songs. But I will make the best art I can make and that’s all that matters.

I don’t give a fuck about who uses AI, but by far the most upsetting consequence of AI is to spend years working on something and have a listeners first reaction asking whether or not something I labored over is AI. I can’t begin to tell you how much effort, love and care goes into every single bit of music and every visual. No, it is not AI.
