My review of Halo 2
As you guys know, I am not a hardcore Halo fan.
I don't have 20 years of game experience, lore expertise, or close knowledge of its development or studio history. I can only speak on what I saw in-game.
Halo 2 is one of the best FPS games I've ever played.

After completing this game on Heroic for effectively the first time, my professional opinion is FUCK THE LIBRARY FUCK THE CHECKPOINTS FUCK THE FLOOD FUCK MASTER CHIEF'S SLOW FUCKING MOVEMENT FUCK THE REPETITIVE LEVELS AND FUCK THE LIBRARY AGAIN

This last point is more of a nitpick but I don't like the Brutes' design.
Not their aesthetic, their barbaric weapons and savage culture are a cool contrast to most Covenant races, but I really don't like their mammalian ape/bear theme. They're too fantasy orc, not alien at all.

I really don't like the Brutes' look compared to other Covenant species, several already reptilian/saurian in appearance.
I would have liked a large scaly reptilian with natural plating, maybe more like Mass Effect's Krogan. Bioarmor with fur, spikes, or quills would be cool.
