Interesting to see how the grey prime layer came out. Zenith highlighting doesn't really work on this level of detail. So I just coated everything. I know ink washes and broad dry brushing is not going to work on these printed miniatures. Next up. Color.

First squad complete
First squad of miniatures is complete for Interferion. Really happy with the results and the overall look and feel. Proportions still need a few tweaks with weapons and hardware. By the end of this week there'll be enough for a 2 player game. Then I can finally start painting.

SMG block out is done. Managed to just do retopology with this one with the knife tool to get the SubDiv stuff to work. Small improvements which won't be visible on the mini. Will be visible on the renders. 2 more to go for today.

New block out for the Assault Rifle is done. It's a lot better than the old one but the changes are only really visible when it's seen up close. Going to see if I can 3D print this one out today.

Almost there.
Almost there with the Heavy Construct from Interferion. Next up. Figuring out how to do pistons with rigging so that they update positions and orientations when I pose the model.

Progress with the Heavy construct.
Hard surface warrior mode engaged for today. Todays work on the Heavy construct for Interferion. Basic retopology is finally starting to click. Getting better at seeing when the bevel modifier will give similar enough results.

More hard surface work on the Light Construct from Interferion. Still have to add some more basic details. Almost done with this one.

Almost there.
After a day of not looking at them I can see plenty to improve. Technical design and actual functional engineering is not something I have any experience with. Going to skip it for now as I still have a lot more modelling to do and a game to finish and release.

Mechanical Hands for the constructs.
1st attempt ever at modelling a mechanical hand. Happy with how it came out. Will probably need two versions, one for renders and Tabletop Simulator and another for 3D printing which is more of a "Block" which will be solid when printed.

Progress.
Medium T.A.C from Interferion. Basic block out done. 1st time I've ever semi "finished" something that's hard surface. It's been a fantastic learning experience so far. Still have to make mechanical hands and then rebuild a new rig with the pistons. @interferionGame

Making good progress with the weapons and am now starting to model the Hardware based upon the original sculpt. This is the first semi finished piece called the F.C.S 207k faces down to 5.7k Hoping to have all 4 pieces of hardware and weapons finished this week.
