The shittiest thing about AI as a SWE is that while it's not the 10x nitro-boost that all the AI hypebeast grifters on here claim it is, it *is* a net ~30% productivity gain (once you factor in all the review, code slop clean up, etc.), which is *just* enough of a boost where you cannot justify not using it.
This is a letdown because using AI after years of learning to code without it is of course an ongoing humiliation ritual, (counterintuitively) *more* exhausting/draining than coding by hand, and way less enjoyable in general.

BREAKING: Iran says the US has agreed to pay $300 billion in reconstruction funds directly to Iran as part of the deal Pakistan announced, alongside the release of $24 billion in frozen funds with $12 billion released before negotiations even start, per Mehr News.
This directly contradicts Trump's & Vance's claim that no funds will be transferred to Iran at all.
If Trump denies this is true, there never was a deal. If Trump confirms, the US has fully capitulated to Iran's demands.

Christ. I did business in Russia for 15 years. I have made at least 50 trips there and speak Russian (very badly). MY children were born in Russia for God's sake. FACT: It is a third-world country striving to be second world. It is a strange and weird place. Nothing is as it seems. If she had to live there she would want out ASAP
