Then we drove north, dropping a few supply boxes en route and scoping out eateries for when I walk through. Melrose is my fave trail town so far (😂), mainly due to the cafe and swing bridge. Disappointed there is not a shop full of fake meat in Quorn. Folks, it’s… a long way???

Adelaide Hills were good. Excited to see my first Heysen Trail sign. Not excited to be forbidden from having fun. No views but lots of atmosphere in the hills. A huge lunch capped off with spicy hot chocs at a second cafe! Thanks to @thebooklender for pics and chauffeuring!
