It's been a while and I'm not planning to come back, but was curious to see if anything was happening here Looks like it's just one big advertising/promo platform now, so I guess I'm not missing anything #sccm #configmgr #memce #intune

Has anyone sold a domain before? Any suggestions on best way to do it? Currently registered through godaddy and wondering if I just use their "sell your domain" service or is there other easy options?

With the recent uptick in bluesky activity I think I'll make it my primary platform now. I'm not ready to delete my twitter account completely, but I'll just use it as "read-only" for now

I'm still sticking with my previous predications. The core services will become more cloud based, but the will still be a need for on-prem content delivery, so "cache/DP" type roles of some kind for intune, like we are seeing happen with the thing-previously-known-as-DOINC

Solutions that nobody asked for to fix problems that don't exist. MS engineer KPI: Add 20% bloat to all apps
Microsoft is adding AI to Notepad on Windows 11. It allows you to rewrite content, change the tone and length, and more. Here's a closer look at AI integration in Notepad: windowslatest.com/2024/11/07… #Windows11 AI requires you to use a Microsoft account in Notepad. Microsoft says the Azure service processes the content and sends the generated text back to you, but it does not save the content. "Your data remains private and secure," Microsoft said.

I've been tracking the numbers that my 2FA authenticator has been giving me and 2 things stand out 1. There are a couple of numbers (10, 42, 69) that have repeated more than others 2. The "next" number is most likely one that hasn't been selected before (ping @AdamFowler_IT )

Haven't done a #ConfigMgr log typo for a while, but here's a new one adsgdis.log in verbose mode "VERBOSE: Member entry ... is existing in DB and don't need refresh this time. Continuing to next member."

Oh wow, the "Clear-CMComponentStatusMessageCount" and "Clear-CMSiteStatusMessageCount" powershell commands *ACTUALLY* do clear the status!! Why did I not think to try that until now. I don't think the reset status from console has ever worked since SMS days

It seems the "cloudier" my PC and apps become the slower everything is to respond. Constant lag and freezes Maybe it just needs a reboot 🤷‍♂️

Reading through (another) thread of "ConfigMgr is dead" and that "you have to embrace the new way of doing things" as an answer to the gaps between Intune and CM. I get that "you're holding wrong" vibe from Intune advocates
