The most worrying thing about today’s game is that absolutely nothing will be done about that refereeing performance and there is absolutely nothing to stop it happening again next week. Referees are choosing results of games. I don’t know how much more of it I can watch.

Simon Hooper, you should be ashamed. Utterly horrific refereeing. And your second howler of the season and it’s not even October. Weak refereeing and VAR are making it very hard to watch the Premier League this season.
