📊 iOS 27.0 Beta 1 (24A5355q) 24 Hour Stability Score Is iOS 27 Stable? ✅ Yes! ✌🏼A mediocre build with some Siri enhancements for those with newer devices. Older devices, what are you getting? A few design tweaks and changes under the hood that will have the novelty wear off very quickly. So those of you that can’t wait and want it now, after 24 hours, it’s pretty stable for your daily drivers. We will continue to score over the coming days, sharing any bugs or finds along the way. #iOS27

🔍 Final beta 1 word on Indexing Here are some of our previous posts where we have previously referenced indexing. It’s nothing new, it’s always happened and the only thing that’s different is that you can see it. We think Apple should remove this notification as it’s only confused and concerned the masses. Do you agree?
📱To the new updaters - YES. iOS 16 does hit your battery life a bit. It’s doing more. But don’t confuse this with normal indexing. After a new update, your device is working overtime to get used to it. Bigger battery drain is normal. See pinned tweet for Stability Score👍🏼

And so the battery count begins to tick. We’re running the test set ups on the new devices giving them a chance to complete the restore and index processes before we run a stability score. Undated iOS 26 Stability Scores will follow later today which, will for the first time, include the latest devices.

Have you restarted since install. Indexing is likely still taking place

🌡 Heat Showing on iPhone 8 🌡 It appears that some abnormal heat is being experienced with light use of the iPhone 8 being tested. There is some indexing going on but shouldn’t be significantly warm. It’s being monitored and any adjustments to the stability score will follow.

🔍 Indexing - Public Calm Requested First things first - it’s beta. The duration of your indexing may be linked to the fact this is pre release software Secondly, after every software update, in particular after a full major release, indexing takes place. It always has done. The difference with #iOS27 is that it now tells you instead of it doing it in the background. Starting to wonder if Apple need to scrap and remove this from the final release as it’s going to send the world craaaazyyyy. In short - Indexing is normal. You just never knew it was happening.

🔍Still Indexing? Read this 👇 iOS indexing is a background process that scans your device's data, such as photos, messages, and app content, to create a searchable database for features like Spotlight and Siri. While indexing can occur when your iPhone is not charging, it is significantly slower and often paused to conserve battery. The process is designed to run most efficiently when the device is plugged in, connected to Wi-Fi, and locked. #Index #iOS27

🔍To speed up iOS indexing, you need to create the ideal conditions for your iPhone to run resource-intensive background tasks without interruption. 🏎️ HOW TO HELP ACCELERATE INDEXING Connect to Power and Wi-Fi Indexing is a battery-heavy process. iOS intentionally pauses or throttles it when running on battery to save power. Plugging your device in allows it to run at full capacity. 🔒 Lock Your Screen The system prioritises indexing when the device is idle. Leaving your phone locked and undisturbed signals to iOS that it can safely allocate system resources to background tasks. 🪫 Disable Low Power Mode Low Power Mode explicitly restricts background activity to save battery. Ensure this is turned off in Settings > Battery so indexing isn't artificially limited. 💽 Maintain Sufficient Storage The search database requires free space to build. If your storage is nearly full, indexing can stall. Aim to keep at least 10–15% of your device's storage free.
