the only thing i hate about reading is that i get so attached to the characters. after i finish the book, that's it. i will never learn anything more about them, their lives, or what they ate for breakfast. finishing a book means losing people close to you.

if u are a fic author please know that there are people out there (like me) who happily read your unfinished works and think about them regularly for years even if they're never updated again. and i'm sooo happy i chose to read them :')

does anyone else have a fic (from any fandom) that has stuck with them for literal years and even all this time later when i’m no longer in that fandom i still regularly think about how beautiful it was and hope that the author is still writing in some capacity
