Sometimes navigating real world situations is more important than being technologically correct. My honest opinion.
The Team Lead tells you: "We don't version our APIs. Clients should always use the latest endpoint" Will you agree?

Your services can be “up” and completely dead at the same time. A situation where there is no crash, no error, no logs. Every request just hangs forever.
Adding a connection pool in your database setup is half the lesson. The half nobody talks about is capping it and setting a timeout, so an exhausted pool fails fast with an error instead of hanging every request forever. Fast failure beats a silent freeze.

Most engineers who struggle with system design interviews aren’t bad engineers. They just started learning the wrong things, in the wrong order. Here’s the actual roadmap, what to learn first, what comes next, and what to save for later.

Day 2. Followed 100 yesterday, Following another 100 people today, and you guys are right, it shouldn’t just be tech people only. So yeah, just RT this and drop a comment 🤝🤝

I'll try this actually. To try and open the gateway for Nigerians because of the new twitter location feature. So I'll try and follow 100 people daily starting today. If you're in tech and I'm not following you, kindly RT this and drop a comment.

10 backend failures to learn immediately: 0. Cache stampede (DB meltdown) 1. Thundering herd (traffic spike) 2. Hot partitions (uneven load) 3. Retry storms (self-DDOS) 4. Cascading failures (service breakdown) 5. Split brain (inconsistency) 6. Data loss (bad replication) 7. Clock skew (time drift) 8. Queue backlog (lag) 9. Memory leaks Copied

Learning golang is actually one of the best career decisions I've made. If you're new to golang like me on this space 🚀, connect let's grow together

Is it just me or have anyone thought how fun GTA would it scenes and characters, behaviours and lots more were to be created with Ai. Less predictability, more fun I guess 💬🤔
