Spent my day off pretty well, I think. A few big vrwatch updates: - Anime support is now in. - I rewrote the media proxy service from scratch, so it should be faster and more reliable. - Custom media libraries are now a thing. You can watch your own media with others, while the proxy helps protect your privacy and handles indexing. You can even share your library. I’ve also started working on a vrwatch world. That one will take a while, because cozy worlds are still pretty new territory for me. Currently planned: - A small living room style watch area - A fully modular cinema - A cozy outdoor cinema I might add private rooms too. Not sure yet. Maybe as a supporter perk? One thing I really want to avoid is obnoxious advertising everywhere. If there are ads, they’ll be limited, vetted, and hand approved. I might add regular poster slots later for supporters too, but only if they are placed tastefully and vetted the same way as ads. The big thing for me is transparency. When you spawn in, there should be clear info on what personal information is collected, why it is collected, and what it is used for. #VRChat | #Unity3D | #vrwatch

sometimes i question if investing so much time and resources into vrchat is worth it... then moments like these happen. we literally can't do this IRL. this is why our little corner of the internet is so special. i muted my mic on purpose while cutting, but i teared up a tad ngl.
