Had some fun this week looking at data for
#WoW Mythic raiding since Shadowlands, and was kinda surprised by the results:
#Midnight has seen the largest number of parses in Mythic from all the data I have.
I started looking into the data for a different article idea I had, but ended up pivoting to this once I saw the numbers.
It kinda surprised me based on community sentiment around the expansion, which lands out with a flat "meh" from most players so far.
I guess this shows that even with a not-so-hyped expansion, the recent changes in encounter design, addons, and overall gearing philosophies are boosting Mythic raiding numbers.
Is this good? Is this bad? Probably too early to tell, but it is definitely a change from SL/DF and early expansions, that's for sure.
It all has a cost as well, which I intend to look into for another article (probably next week).
