I’m a half-cup-full guy too. Same thing with Caribbean music for years longer. Just means there’s more opportunity for deeper diggers to do what DJs should love doing: break records
I guess my cup is half full but can we appreciate the fact that the average NYC DJ has 10 Afrobeats records in his/her bag? Seeing as Afrobeats didnt exist in mainstream US clubs 5 yrs ago you gotta say the progress is 🤯. For deeper cuts theres always... afrobeats parties & DJs?
