Q: Referencing Profiles declaratively, do you use CMDT?
Gut says its right thing to do, head questioning the value.
Context; making Validation Rules & current Org practice uses Profile.Name

hmm still difficulties. Trying prevent Users transferring records TO group Users. Can give target group Custom Permission, tho unable reference new Owner's Perms or PermSets in Validation Rule, only their fields, Role & Profile. Will default to custom field on User. Clunky

Challenge for @CherFeldman: Be able to interrogate target record Owner's Perms & PermSets as we can do Profile/Role (ala screenshot) when creating Validation Rules!

Known Issue: Cannot save Case created via Email-to-case in Lightning if Case Source field is Editable trailblazer.salesforce.com/i…
Painful that when asked if this was related to Winter23 & told no, it then started to affect Production just hours after release rolled out

My hair beard are gonna be lopped off.
