Exposed : AMBO Campaigns Rebranding Vehicles in Accord Colours to Launch Fresh Wave of Gun Attacks OSOGBO - 12/06/2026 The Osun chapter of the Accord has raised alarm over an ongoing plot by the Bola Oyebamiji campaign organisation to rebrand and repaint some of its campaign vehicles in Accord colours to launch a fresh wave of gun attacks and blame it on Governor Ademola Adeleke. In a statement issued at Osogbo, the party state chairman, Pastor Victor Akande alerted the public and the security agencies of the devilish agenda which is currently ongoing at Kabtok hotel owned by a chieftain of the Osun APC. The party alerted the public that the APC campaign is currently replacing Ambo logos with Accord/Adeleke pictures and that the plan is to use the rebranded vehicles to start another round of gun attacks. The ruling party went further to inform the public that the rebranding process is currently ongoing at the hotel, adding that "reliable information revealed that the new round of attacks may happen from tonight or Saturday across major towns in Osun. “We gathered that the terror team in charge of the operations arrived in Osogbo on Thursday evening and they are lodged at the same Kabotok hotel. The repainting is ongoing at the hotel as we issue this press release. The Accord then called on the security agencies to nip the evil plot in the bud by raiding the named hotel and other suspected hideouts to arrest those behind the planned criminal conducts. “We notify the Inspector General of Police of the evil scheme. We seek the intervention of the IGP to direct the state commissioner of police to take immediate action to stop the criminal act from materialising. “We also call on all other security agencies to be aware of the plot and act to secure the good people of Osun state. Accord has no terror gang and the Osun APC should be held to account over the exposed plot to plunge the state into another round of grief and terror”, the party chairman submitted. Signed: Pastor Victor Akande, State Chairman, The Accord, Osun State Chapter.

Accord National, State Lawmakers Demand Redeployment of Osun CP Members of the National Assembly and the Osun State House of Assembly under the Accord Party have called for the immediate redeployment of the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Gotan, alleging partisanship and failure to effectively address security challenges in the state. Speaking on behalf of seven National Assembly members and 25 members of the State House of Assembly during a press conference in Osogbo on Friday, Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Adewale Egbedun @AOEgbedun, accused the police command of acting as a willing accomplice in what he described as unlawful activities allegedly being orchestrated by the APC in the state. Egbedun questioned the police's inability to arrest perpetrators of recent violent incidents, despite evidence reportedly showing the crimes were committed openly, using branded vehicles and captured on video recordings. According to him, the failure to identify, apprehend, and prosecute those responsible has emboldened criminal elements and heightened concerns over the security of lives and property across Osun State. The Speaker further alleged that since assuming office on May 11, 2025, the Commissioner of Police had attended the State Security Council meeting only twice, often delegating junior officers to represent him. He also accused the police commissioner of attempting to undermine the operations of the Amotekun Corps, describing such actions as a threat to public safety at a time when kidnapping and banditry remain major concerns across the country. Egbedun added that while several Accord Party campaign billboards were allegedly vandalized without any arrests being made, the police were instead focused on disrupting the party's campaign activities in parts of the state. He maintained that the conduct of the commissioner had raised concerns about his neutrality and ability to provide effective security leadership in Osun State. The lawmakers therefore called on the Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Gotan, to immediately redeploy the commissioner, alleging that he had become compromised and could no longer be trusted to perform his duties impartially.

ADDRESS BY HIS EXCELLENCY, SENATOR ADEMOLA JACKSON NURUDEEN ADELEKE, EXECUTIVE GOVERNOR OF OSUN STATE AT THE JUNE 12 DEMOCRACY DAY CELEBRATION, HELD ON FRIDAY, JUNE 12, 2026, AT ADOLAK EVENT CENTRE, OSOGBO Protocols My dear people of Osun State, It is with profound gratitude to Almighty God and a deep sense of responsibility that I address you today as we commemorate Democracy Day, June 12, a date that occupies a unique and sacred place in the political history of our nation. Today, we join millions of Nigerians across the country and around the world in celebrating a defining chapter in our democratic journey. We celebrate the resilience of our people, the strength of our institutions and the enduring triumph of democracy. The significance of this day is rooted in the historic presidential election conducted on June 12, 1993. That election, won by the late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale (M.K.O.) Abiola, is widely regarded as the freest, fairest and most credible election in Nigeria's history. Nigerians, irrespective of ethnicity, religion or political affiliation, voted overwhelmingly in a remarkable demonstration of national unity and democratic maturity. However, the annulment of that election by the military government on June 23, 1993 plunged our nation into political uncertainty and triggered a prolonged struggle for the restoration of democratic governance. The years that followed witnessed unprecedented civic resistance, advocacy and sacrifices by countless patriots who demanded that the will of the Nigerian people be respected. As we commemorate the thirty-third anniversary of the historic June 12, 1993 election, we honour the courage and sacrifices of Chief M.K.O. Abiola, Alhaja Kudirat Abiola, Chief Anthony Enahoro, Pa Alfred Rewane, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, Chief Bola Ige, Commodore Dan Suleiman and countless other patriots whose commitment strengthened the foundations of democracy in Nigeria. Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, this year's Democracy Day comes at a time when our nation continues to navigate complex economic and social challenges. Across the country, citizens yearn for greater opportunities, improved living conditions, enhanced security and responsive governance. Here in Osun State, we remain unwavering in our resolve to make democracy meaningful for our people. We believe that the true measure of democracy lies not in political rhetoric but in the tangible improvement of the lives of citizens. Our administration has continued to prioritise the welfare of workers, pensioners, women, youths, artisans, farmers, traditional rulers and vulnerable groups. We firmly believe that the true essence of democracy lies in improving the quality of life of the people and ensuring that development reaches every corner of our State.

OSUN APC IN TOTAL COLLAPSE AS WAVE OF RESIGNATIONS HITS THE PARTY • Loss of confidence in Oyetola and Oyebamiji deepens across party ranks The Imole Campaign Council (TICC) has observed with keen interest the growing wave of resignations, defections, and open expressions of dissatisfaction currently sweeping across the Osun APC. What is happening within the APC is no longer an isolated incident. It is a clear manifestation of a party suffering from internal collapse, loss of direction, leadership failure, and a growing crisis of confidence among its members. Across local governments and wards, loyal party members who invested years of commitment, sacrifice, and resources into building the APC are now openly walking away from the party. The reason is simple. Many no longer believe in the leadership of Gboyega Oyetola and Oyebamiji, nor do they believe the party offers any credible future for Osun State. People do not abandon a political party they have confidence in. They do not resign from a platform they believe is growing stronger. What we are witnessing today is a vote of no confidence in the direction, leadership, and prospects of the Osun APC. The party has become synonymous with imposition, internal injustice, abuse of privilege, and the silencing of genuine party members. Those who laboured to build the APC are now watching outsiders and political opportunists take over the structure while their sacrifices are ignored. While the APC battles internal rebellion and an unprecedented loss of confidence, Governor Ademola Adeleke continues to enjoy growing acceptance across Osun State because of visible governance, infrastructural development, workers' welfare, pension reforms, healthcare improvements, and people-centred leadership. The message coming from the grassroots is becoming louder by the day. The people have moved on, and increasingly, many members of the APC are moving on too. Signed: Pelumi Olajengbesi, Esq. Group Life Assurance Policy: Governor Adeleke Disburses Millions of Naira for Public Servants’ Next of Kin OSOGBO - 01/06/2026 - Osunstate.gov.ng Amidst fiscal constraints, Governor Ademola Adeleke has today disbursed a total of Two Hundred and Four Million, Two Hundred and Seventy-five Thousand, two hundred and nine naira and eighty kobo (N204,275,209.80) to the next of kin of all staff who died in active service and whose documentation have been completed in the Pension Office. The disbursement was made up of One Hundred and Twenty-Five Million, Six Hundred and Thirty-One Thousand, Eighty-Three Naira, Forty-Five Kobo (#125,631,083.45) for the State level beneficiaries and Seventy-Eight Million, Six Hundred Fort-Four Thousand, One Hundred and Twenty-Six Naira, Thirty-Five Kobo (#78,644,126.35) for Local Government level beneficiaries. From 2023 to date, the administration had paid a total of Eight Hundred and Eighty-two Million, Seven Hundred and Fifty-Two Thousand, Seven Hundred and Seventeen Naira, Fifty Kobo (₦882,752,717.50) to a total of One Hundred and Eighty-Four (184) beneficiaries across the entire gamut of the public service. Under the personal accident insurance scheme, the administration had approved and released a total of One Billion, Eight Hundred and Sixty-Six Million, Seven Hundred and Nineteen Thousand, One Hundred and Twenty-Three Naira, Fifteen Kobo (₦1,866,719,123.15) being the outstanding claims of the Five Hundred and Sixty-three (563) beneficiaries covering September 2013 to 1st of August 2023. The sharing of cheques for the new beneficiaries was held today at Osogbo with the Head of Service, Elder Ayanleye Aina representing the state governor. In the address of the governor presented by the Head of Service, Governor Adeleke reiterated that his commitment to workers and pensioners'welfare remain unshaken despite the financial challenges facing the state, adding that “what my predecessor failed to implement is what I am executing now. “When we stated clearly in our 5 – point Action Plan, our desire to make the welfare of the workforce and the pensioners No. 1 priority, our detractors made jest of us, describing the pledge as an impossibility. Today, to the glory of God, we have made significant progress as a talk and do administration”, the governor noted. He explained that the Group Life Assurance Policy, under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS) 2008, Section 15, is designed to cater for death-in-service benefits for Osun State workforce, describing the refusal of the previous government to commit to its settlement as inhumane and uncharitable. The governor faulted the previous administration for foisting and condoning irregularities in the payment of Premium to the Insurance Company for the settlement of claims to the beneficiaries.

Under Oyetola/Ambo, Osun has no functional fire service truck. Gov Adeleke procured five new fire service trucks for phase one. Phase 2 was put on hold due to funding gap. Your post indict both Minister Oyetola and Amubo who run several sectors aground from 2018 to 2022.
As at last year, the entirety of Osun State didn't have up to 10 functional public fire trucks for 30 LGAs Gov. Adélékè decided to spend ₦14bn on flyover in Ifẹ, to help reduce traffic problems IN ILE IFẸ! Yet you have unintelligent people like @Boripe_ defending it. Shame.
