Cannot stop thinking of this case. The horror of it has been rattling around my brain, not just what her husband did to her, but how so many men were complicit in the abuse. How are we not in the streets in uproar, why aren’t more men talking about this bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cd9d…

My view is that if you choose to use the moments after a spate of anti-immigrant riots and racist pogroms to crackdown on migrants and asylum-seekers - then you are fuelling the fire that the far-right is burning.

Labour is announcing a "major surge" in immigration enforcement. They will aim to achieve in next 6 months the "highest rate of removals of those with no right to be here, including failed asylum-seekers, for five years". Will increase detention capacity to achieve it.

I am in complete agreement with @JonAshworth Politicians who have fanned the flames of anti migrant hate, racism, Islamophobia should definitely be held to account. Nigel Farage, Braverman, Patel, Sunak, too many Tories too name and this lot too 👇🏾

I've said it before and I'll say it again: The enemy of the working class travels by private jet, not migrant dinghy.

I saw 'Oranges and Stones' last night and would highly recommend folks go and see it - it's on until Saturday. A deeply affecting piece of work, and the conversation after was both hopeful and rageful: tickettailor.com/events/thea…

i started watching sex and the city for the first time on the flight home from Manila (which is amazing), but my jaw was on the floor at the end of ep 3 where Carrie compares single/married people to the conflict in Northern Ireland...I fear this is just the start 😭

this was so so clear during canvassing as well. I'm so relieved that the communities who most need an MP like Corbyn still have him!
The class divide was so stark in Islington North. Fancy terraced houses all had Labour posters. Estates were plastered with Corbyn ones. They underestimated our ability to get the working class out to vote. Still beaming at how we smashed them.
