The NDP should be blamed and shamed for this mess, no doubt, but His Worship also contributed to the delay by flip-flopping against the approved bridge (that would be open today, and would have cost about 1/3rd of this mess).
Absolutely unacceptable. The cancellation of the George Massey Tunnel contractor is a major setback and yet another delay caused by the provincial government.
By now, we could have been driving across a new bridge. Instead, after eight years, we have no tunnel, no bridge, and not even a completed environmental assessment. #bcpoli
