Cleo Sol. I discovered her music during a time when I was going through a lot of pain and confusion. Her ‘Mother’ album put to words the things I was feeling but didn’t know how to express. There was healing in her music that I don’t think I had ever experienced before. @cleosol

“Baby Boy”, very specifically, the Destiny Fulfilled & Loving It tour version–intro & all. DC3 was my first “secular” concert ever in 2005 at EESSENCE Fest. That show changed my life and solidified Beyoncé as a force for me. I’d love to relive that experience in some capacity.
