I broke the seal and then did a lot of side content tonight. I also found a shop in a new area, I bought some good weapons and equipment from it. I got a trophy there too. Now I'm ready to go to the Shimmering Island.

I just played a bit more of FFIX and I finished Mount Gulag and Ipsen's castle. Both area's were great, I like how you have to use weaker weapons to deal damage in the castle. I now have to break the seal.

I've just finished the parts in Oeilvert and the Desert Palace. They were both great parts of the game. I really enjoyed the boss in Oeilvert, it was challenging but really fun to fight.

The Nintendo Switch 2 arrived this morning. I didn't think it would be here until Monday or Tuesday so I haven't ordered Donkey Kong yet. I did buy the upgrade for Breath of the wild though so I will replay that soon.

I've been doing a lot of side content on FFIX tonight. I got the Blue Narciss and started exploring the world. I have done most of the Chocographs now, I got a lot of good items from them. And I upgraded my Chocobo again so it can climb mountains.

The part in Alexandria was amazing! Both times I've seen Bahamut in this game I've thought he's so fucking cool 😂. I also tried to fight a book and got my ass kicked. I just got the Blue Narciss and I'm back on the world map.

I ordered a switch 2 last night. There is so many games I still need to play from the first one. I think the first game I buy for it will be Donkey Kong though.

I didn't make much progress tonight on FFIX because of mini games. I was told about a race earlier so I had to do it, my thumbs and fingers feel the pain now though 😂. There was also one in a shop that hurt my eyes. Now I'm in Treno taking part in the card tournament.

I'm now back in Alexandria. The part where you go back to the Iifa tree was so good! It was cool seeing Bahamut in this game. I also got a new party member, I really enjoyed the fight with him.

I made it to the Iifa tree tonight. I really enjoyed playing this today, I liked all of the new areas I visited and hearing the music. I enjoyed meeting the new characters and I'm really enjoying the story, it's got me hooked. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I have now finished a few more area's. Fossil Roo was really fun, I enjoyed finding my way through the tunnels but I did get lost a few times 😂. I really liked the part in the Black Mage Village too.

I played some more FFIX tonight. I made it back to Lindblum and I'm about to leave again. My favourite place so far has to be Pinnacle Rocks, the area looked amazing and the character you meet there is pretty cool. I can't wait to play more tomorrow.

I've just finished Cleyra and the return to the castle. The scene that plays when you leave Cleyra was so fucking cool! And the castle was also amazing. I think Steiner might be one of my favourite characters now.

I've made it to the Cleyra settlement tonight. One thing I'm really liking about this game at the moment is how it switches between the two parties. I love seeing where the story is going for both of them.

I'm now in Treno. I'm loving FFIX right now, it's all I'm playing at the moment 😂. I really enjoyed watching the Nintendo Direct earlier today too. I'm still so happy about Ocarina of Time getting a remake, it's my favourite game of all time.

I just had a boss fight with Beatrix and it was pretty cool but I lost 😂 I'm guessing that was supposed to happen though because there was dialogue after.
