Kmet initiated the contact to drive the defender away from the boundary to give his QB a spot to throw the ball in the back of the end zone. Smart play. Not sure the exact rules, all I know is if a defender imitates any contact after 5 yards they can be called for illegal contact
So that explains why Durant ran away from the ballbon the game-tying TD...
If this isn't OPI I'm not sure what is 😅

How is this different than the Cooks catch last night @NFLOfficiating?

For the first time ill be taking my two sons to a @Lions game. We will be at the top row just as I was when my Dad took me and my brothers to games at the Silverdome and we couldn’t be more excited, just as we were back in 1993.

Lions fans spent a week defending a guy sucker punching a guy after a game. Defending a guy jumping on the goalpost after scoring a TD is not a big stretch. For the most part fans have and will always defend their players.
