(2/2) I support the President’s efforts to level the playing field, bring jobs and manufacturing back to America, and rebuild the broken economy that Biden left behind. I know American workers, farmers, manufacturers, and miners can compete with anyone in the world as long as there is a fair and level playing field.

It’s encouraging that lawmakers are taking fraud seriously this session, but they seem to be missing one of the biggest heists happening right under their noses. Payroll fraud and worker misclassification are a massive crime and the scale of the response has been minuscule.

Since the 1980s, we've seen productivity grow while wages have stagnated. AI has the potential to add jet fuel to this fire, lining the pockets of the wealthy and leaving workers behind. Policymakers should ensure workers have a voice in how AI is implemented in their workplaces.

BREAKING: Kentucky voters are projected to have rejected an amendment that would allow the legislature to direct public money to unaccountable private schools in the form of vouchers.

Nevada’s secretary of state, seeing high number of rejected ballots in Clark and Washoe, says one of the biggest issues is that the signatures of younger voters don’t always match what’s on their driver’s licenses:
“It’s mostly the fact that young people don’t have signatures these days. And when they did register to vote through the automatic voter registration process, they signed a digital pad at D.M.V., and that became their license signature.”

New: The FBI is warning about a fabricated video purporting to be an alert issued by the FBI urging Americans to “vote remotely” due to a high terror threat at polling stations. The FBI is also flagging a video containing a fake FBI press release alleging that the management of five prisons in Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Arizona rigged inmate voting and colluded with a political party. Disinformation is everywhere.
