If the beeb followed their own guidelines on impartiality they wouldn't censure a presenter for what he said - not on their platform. Talk about (government) overreach!
Since the war began, I suppose like many people you can't spend a day without thinking about the plight of those people (like you & I) - who suddenly to have to fight for their existence. We may not say it every day on social media- but in our minds - on repeat - Slava Ukraine!
A good chunk of the public will watch a Ukrainian soldier being gunned down in cold blood and, unmoved, scroll onto the next thing.
An even bigger chunk will never watch it nor care about what they’re missing.
The war fatigue is real. Keep reminding people what’s happening.
The fragility of our time here is clearly evinced by the scale of the loss of life & human suffering after the cataclysmic earthquake in Turkey & Syria. Who needs war on top of it? Imagine?
