I've been accumulating a bag of Blupets and wanted to write down why. The biggest reason is the creator. What gives me confidence is that @bunya_eth is a storyteller and world builder at heart. It's the reason I've enjoyed following and supporting his work ever since Animation Everydays. The art is important, but what has always stood out to me is his ability to create a world around it. When I look at Blupets, I don't see another trait-based PFP collection. I see the early stages of a collectible creature universe. The second thing that stands out is execution speed. Attention is one of the most valuable resources in NFTs, and Bunya is leaning heavily into AI to accelerate creation, experimentation, and development. In a market where attention compounds and narratives move fast, being able to build and iterate quickly is a serious advantage. The third piece is speculation. Speculation is often viewed negatively, but it's one of the most important ingredients in any market. It's what captures attention. It's what gets people talking. It's what allows imaginations to run wild. The most interesting line in the entire project overview wasn't the art or the mint mechanics. It was this: "The agentic layer will use vibes to help define how each Blupet behaves, reacts, and interacts." That's a powerful idea because nobody knows exactly where it leads. The collection isn't presenting a finished product. It's presenting a possibility. And possibilities are where some of the strongest narratives are born. I also love the merge mechanic. Collectors can burn NFTs to evolve them into new forms, creating a naturally deflationary system where supply decreases over time. We've already seen how powerful these mechanics can be. Normies minted below 0.01 ETH and eventually ran to roughly 0.5 ETH as collectors chased evolutions and removed supply from the market. When collectors begin pursuing specific outcomes, they don't just buy one NFT. They sweep multiple. They burn supply. They compete to create rarer assets. Blupets takes that concept in a direction that feels even more aligned with creature collecting. And that's where the IP angle becomes interesting. I think a lot of people underestimate how much value can accrue from emotional attachment. Look at Pokémon. The cards themselves are just pieces of cardboard. The value comes from the characters, the stories, the collecting behavior, and the emotional connection people develop over years. That's why I'm interested in projects building worlds, not just collections. Could I be wrong? Absolutely. But when I combine a proven world builder, AI-enabled execution, open-ended speculation around agentic NFTs, deflationary evolution mechanics, and the potential for genuine emotional attachment to the IP, I see a setup that's interesting enough to place a bet on. We'll see how it plays out.

An 89% returning customer rate is kind of insane for a brand this early More importantly, OSF says its “organic non-reward side of the business” is growing fast now too That means people aren’t just buying for token incentives anymore they’re coming back because they actually like the brand and product. @osf_rekt

This won’t immediately show up in the $Rekt charts but Rekt is starting to escape the crypto bubble and enter mainstream internet culture. What’s interesting about the Rekt x FaZe partnership isn’t the sales. It’s the mindshare it unlocks outside of crypto. “It’s just kind of everywhere… all over X, but also all over Web2 socials.” Instagram. TikTok. Reddit. FaZe esports creators. @osf_rekt

Figge (Yuga CEO) explains Otherside’s Vibe Maker World “Like you could literally use ChatGPT, Claude and say Hey I want an MML world based off of the Meebits. I want a bodega and I want a postal service truck in front that’s always driving around the bodega.” "And it will code that up and then you could take that file and drop it into Otherside and it’ll work, which is crazy.” @mfigge

“Rekt is my baby.” If your founder isn’t this passionate about their project, invest in a different project “This isn’t about the next month… or the next year. It’s about the next ten years… the next century.” @osf_rekt

Figge (Yuga CEO) shares why the Daniel Arsham avatar mint in @OthersideMeta was so special “people will find an appreciation for that specific avatar more than they would other avatars. And it's like the emotional connection and the story around it is the reason for that” What will help drive NFT season 2.0 are immersive minting experiences like this that facilitate the story telling and world building Where instead of a jpeg you have an interoperable 3d avatar that you can embody in a virtual world, strengthening the attachment and connection to the NFT @mfigge

Bought more BRAINROT here going into the weekend Thoughts: The BRAINROT court activation is right around the corner and with it I’m betting attention will flow back to the collection Selfishly I was hoping that BRAINROT would follow the trend where NFT collections that go parabolic over the weekend, then cool off and consolidate earlier in the week as people return to work NFTs are collector-driven markets. Buying a NFT is often a more deliberate decision than buying a coin, and as people return to work their attention flows elsewhere and prices tend to dip. Looks like we got the dip. Prices are down about 25% from the highs, which to me seems healthy mid week, so I’m taking advantage.

If you look at the $Rekt price you might think the brand is struggling, but there was an extremely important shift this year. Rekt is selling drinks without token rewards attached to them, this is how you build a sustainable project Last year, “we had 0 organic sales from non-reward items other than Base.” This year, “our non-reward revenues are up massively.” @osf_rekt

People are discovering and enjoying Rekt outside of our crypto twitter bubble The real sustainable playbook is to trojan horse people with a good product and then introduce $Rekt, not the other way around The path to world domination is becoming more clear @osf_rekt

People paying 4000% above floor for certain traits has got to be on of the most bullish signals for a collection. Rare traits are inherently pretty illiquid, so this isn’t for a quick flip This is a collector collecting and displaying immense faith in BRAINROT Higher imo
This BRAINROT just sold for 2ETH on secondary market. Looks like some people really do love slop as much as I do.

A lot of people still think $REKT is just a drink company It’s not. This is an early chapter in Rekt’s story The drinks were always a distribution mechanism for the brand itself “When you sell a million cans… that’s a million times someone’s gonna pick up and hold this can with a massive REKT logo on it.” $REKT is a brand coin, think bigger @osf_rekt / @JoeyMoose

I started picking up a few BRAINROT nfts and wanted to write down some thoughts on why one thing that immediately stood out to me is that a lot of the right people on NFT Twitter seem genuinely interested in it. That's not a thesis on its own, but it did signal to me that this project was worth looking into From there what really ended up catching my attention is the speculative and gamified layer that's forming around the collection with the upcoming "brainrot court" The collection wasn't just generated and shipped. The images were evaluated by the project's own generation engine for memorability and impact, and soon holders will be able to watch those evaluation processes play out publicly. That creates a dynamic that feels different from most NFT projects and gives it some virality potential You can already see evidence of it on OpenSea. Tons of buys are happening well above floor, which tells me people are assigning significant value to specific traits and combinations. Which to me is another signal this thing may have legs. But honestly what I like most about brainrot is that it knows exactly what it is. The art is obviously AI-generated slop. That's the point. It's not pretending to be something else. It's taking one of the defining cultural phenomena of the modern internet brainrot and building an art project around it. And that's what makes it compelling. I know it's AI generated. Yet I keep finding myself scrolling through OpenSea, examining traits and combinations, trying to decipher how each specimen fits into the broader language of internet culture. For whatever reason I find it addictive. I think @nuclearsamurai deserves a lot of credit here. His fingerprints are all over the project, not necessarily in any individual image, but in the curation of what the generator ultimately produces At a high level, my thesis is pretty simple: BRAINROT sits at the intersection of AI, internet culture, collectibility, and speculation. The art itself isn't really the product. The evolving system around it might be. Still early, but that's where my head’s at right now

Dry scooping Rekt energy powder straight down your gullet sounds crazy until you actually try it Honestly think Easy might be onto something here What makes Rekt energy different than your standard caffeine drink is the L-Thenanie which makes it so there’s no jitters or crash Personally I went from 2-3 coffees throughout the day to one raw and dirty dry scoop of Rekt in the morning and I’m good the whole day @NotSoEasyMoney / @osf_rekt
