And we learn today that student nurse applications are down by as much as 24% down in Scotland and around 20% across the UK
ALL the more reasons to look after existing nurses and make nursing attractive to future nurses.
How is going to fill these 47,000 jobs for patients?
There are over 47,000 unfilled registered nurse posts in England’s NHS alone. Yet the Prime Minister continues to ignore our invitation to negotiate #FairPayForNursing to protect patients.
We know #SafeStaffingSavesLives - we need action now.
