The last phase of testing is now live, and like I said, don't worry about Pokémon you've already leveled up. You can use your old Pokémon in certain game modes for quests or wager battles against players who have been playing for a similar amount of time. We call them Legacy Trainers

Will update the Box System for party switching and the Evo System soon.
After the next update, you will no longer be able to catch Pokémon that are not first-stage evolutions. Most higher-stage Pokémon will need to be evolved yourself through certain quests.
If you want rare Pokémon, you can use higher-grade Poké Balls, which can also be earned from quests.
That doesn't mean your old Pokémon won't be useful. All Pokémon caught before the update will still be usable in the Arena System (coming later), where they can help complete certain quests.
And like I said before, all players who have been playing and supporting us will be eligible for the airdrop.
As for the Box System, Box 1 and Box 2 can be used for the Wager System. However, if you use Pokémon caught before the next update, you can only wager against players who also have old Pokémon boxes. Otherwise, it wouldn't be balanced.
For example, if you have Pokémon from before the patch and another player only has Pokémon obtained after the new patch, you won't be able to wager against each other. This is to keep things fair and balanced.
Also, the Pokédex is coming soon for easier filtering, tracking, and much more. More details will be revealed later.
