Writing prompt: I’ve had this bulb for so long, I thought it was a dud. Funny thing for it to sprout now with its green-tipped nub sniffing for light from a cracked cocoon. I found it on the side of the ditch and have no idea what it is.

For the Plot!
Who among us hasn’t made a decision that changed our life’s trajectory because it seemed like an interesting choice?
Just me? Good thing I’m not here to give life advice. I am here for plot and narrative structure, however; and I brought receipts.
By definition, Plot means to mark a map for wayfinding, to locate a curve by plotted points, to contrive revenge, to secretly plan misdeeds, to invent a storyline, and commonly, the main interrelated sequence of events.
