Advice to my former self when switching jobs:
Take weeks between starting a new job to recharge; especially if the old job was years-long, nonstop.
Employers always push you to start ASAP but it never really mattered. Neither was it worth it to stay on longer at the old place.

They call us recruitment CONSULTANTS because we actually need to CONSULT.
No one knows how to hire correctly.
Yet, everyone knows the experience sucks.
To make it less terrible, we need to at least remove the *obviously* useless elements from the hiring process.

TypeScript allows us a lot of flexibility when using their inbuilt Utility Types.
For instance, we can use "Extract" to create a new type containing only properties that are assignable to a given type.
