7/ Clean Google Photos
This is usually what filled you up.
Open Google Photos on the web at photos.google.com (not the app, the web). Delete the screenshots, blurry shots, and duplicate bursts you'll never look at. Then go to Trash and empty it. Photos sit in Trash for 60 days still counting against your storage. Make sure Backup is still off from step 1 before you delete anything.

8/ Clear Google Drive
The last place gigabytes hide.
Go to Google Drive, click Storage on the left, and it sorts every file by size, biggest first. Delete the old downloads, shared files, and random documents you forgot existed. Then empty the Drive Trash. If you skip emptying the trash, nothing actually gets freed.
